Flair Fair RETURNS

We’re a 1 day local artist market event.

New location! Outdoors in Pitkin Plaza.

Flair Fair started in 2016, put on pause in 2020, and revived in 2023 as a special part of the New Haven Night Market. We’re excited to mark a new chapter in 2024 and go back to our roots as a solo event. Flanked by our organizers at Strange Ways, this year Flair Fair will take place in Pitkin Plaza: an outdoor public square located directly outside of the Strange Ways storefront.

We’re going back to the event occurring on a Saturday afternoon, which will take advantage of the bustling foot traffic and other businesses and eateries located within the downtown New Haven, CT area. Flair Fair also plans go back to our bi-yearly occurrance—popping up this Spring in April, as well as this Autumn in September!

We love gathering the creative makers we admire and allowing people to shop directly from artists—a direct extension of Strange Ways (that is currently supported doing Monthly Mini Markets in-store each month). Coming together to focus an entire event on pins and patches that help people express themselves is a part of Strange Ways culture that will never die!

What is Flair Fair?

Flair Fair is a vendor fair focusing on small pieces of wearable and collectible art. We celebrate the modern resurgence of pins, patches, buttons, and more. The market features around a dozen independent artists and designers selling affordable, unique items for your wardrobe and home.

Pin + patch culture is of cult-like status, and we're proud to organize an event that bring fans and makers together. Many visitors use it as way to share, collect, show-off, trade, and meet-up with some of their favorite makers and fellow fans in the community.

Open to the public. No entrance fee.
